BOB EVANS RESTAURANT TO OPEN SOON IN CAPE...
I-55 & Route K Exit - Cape Girardeau, MO The Bob Evans Restaurant chain will open their very first unit in Southeast Missouri near the Cape Girardeau intersection of Interstate 55 and Route K. The location is adjacent to Ryan's Steakhouse and is surrounded by several motels including the Drury Lodge, Pear Tree Inn and across Route K from the Holiday Inn and Victorian Inn.. The company traditionally likes to be close to the area motels and interstates to cater to the highway travelers. The chain operates more than 430 units nationwide and is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. The family oriented eatery will join several other franchises in the immediate area including Red Lobster, Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesday's, Burger King and Pizza Inn, just to name a few. The newest Cape restaurant is currently featuring and finalizing equipment. A banner outside and a newspaper ad is currently advertising for employees from waitresses to kitchen help. The property was purchased earlier this year from DSW Company, just one of the Drury Companies who has developed much of the property surrounding the high visibility interchange. |
