ACE HARDWARE OPENS IN CAPE
Ace Hardware - North Kingshighway - Cape Girardeau
Cape Girardeau has another hardware store, Elias Ace Hardware. The newest addition is affiliated with the Ace franchise and is located on the North side of the city at 1719 N. Kingshighway. The Elias Family, who also operate another Ace franchised store, Elias Family Center in Cairo, Illinois are the owner operators of this new retail outlet.
Carrying all the normal merchandise associated with a full service hardware store, the unit will also have seasonal lines including lawn and garden items. The Elias family, who live in Cape saw a need for a hardware retail store on the far north end of Cape.
The location is very near the intersection of Mount Auburn and North Kingshighway. The entire region has experienced a huge residential and commercial growth in recent years. The nearest Ace franchise is at Jackson.
