GOODY'S OPENS IN POPLAR BLUFF

Valley Plaza - Poplar Bluff, Missouri

With 312 Stores in 18 states, Goody’s, based out of Knoxville, Tennessee has recently opened another unit in Southeast Missouri in the Valley Plaza Center at Poplar Bluff.

The apparel chain specializes in offering moderately priced clothes for the whole family. They opened in lease space that was formerly occupied by Stage Department Store. Jennifer Burkheart is store manager of the local operation.

Goody’s carries private clothing lines, plus well-known labels, such as Levi’s, Dockers, Nike, Union Bay, Bugle Bow, Old College Inn and Adidas. Goody’s has six major departments including men's, children's and women's fashions.

The fast growing chain store was founded in 1953 by M.D. Goodfriend. The apparel retailer also has locations in Sikeston and Cape Girardeau.
