OPENS IN SIKESTON...
Sikeston Lowe's Store When Completed
Sikeston is now home to a new Lowe's Store built in the 200 acre development near the intersection of Highway 60 and South Main Street. The national home improvement chain opened in the Missouri bootheel town with a 120,000 square-foot store.
Lowe's joins a number of commercial businesses in the area including Office Max, Sikeston Motors, K-Mart and the Market Place. Wal-Mart just completed a new Super Center located directly west of the development area.
Lowe's is the 15th largest retailer in the United States and the 34th largest retailer in the world. They currently have 589 stores in 39 states and annual sales in excess of $15 billion. Lowe's also has a store in Cape Girardeau that opened several years ago.
