NEW FACILITY IN CAPE...
New SEMO Box Location on Nash Road
Nash Road, in the Greater Cape Girardeau Industrial Park will be the location of SEMO Box Company's new manufacturing facility. Currently site work is being completed for the construction of the nearly 50,000 square foot building.
The company founded and currently owned by the Powderly family manufactures all types of cardboard boxes and has outgrown their present building that has been enlarged over the years. Their present facility is very near the new location for the company.
The new box manufacturing site is located on a tract of land between the Biokyowa Plant and Spartech warehousing facility. Contrend, a Cape Girardeau construction company has the contract to complete the new structure.
The entire industrial area along Nash Road has seen rapid growth in recent years and also is near the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport, Southeast Missouri Port Authority and Interstate 55..
